Parent & Child Play Programme
At 3D Drumchapel, we believe families thrive when they learn, play, and grow together. Our children and family services provide a wide range of fun, engaging activities that support children’s development while strengthening family bonds.
From messy play and music sessions to family outings and creative workshops, we create opportunities for children to explore, build confidence, and make friends. Parents and carers also benefit from a supportive space to connect with others, share experiences, and access guidance when needed.
We’re here to walk alongside families – offering practical support, encouragement, and a welcoming community where everyone feels included.

Messy Play
Messy Play is a hands-on, interactive session for children and their carers to explore, create, and have fun together. Using a variety of textures and materials, children develop skills like coordination, creativity, and problem-solving, while carers join in the fun, support learning, and enjoy quality time with their little ones.
It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where families can connect, play, and be part of a friendly community.
“I am so grateful for 3D. I have social anxiety and have felt so able to join in thanks to how welcoming the ladies have been. I like the lay out of the sessions, they are relaxed and easy to take part in or just enjoy the company. I feel so much better knowing I have something me and the kids can look forward too.”
Tots 2 Toddlers
Tots 2 Toddlers is a playful, welcoming session designed for little ones and their carers. Children can explore, learn, and develop new skills through songs, games, and creative activities, while carers have the chance to connect, share experiences, and enjoy quality time with their child.

“I am more confident. I understand all my child's needs. My child started walking confidently because of sessions and meeting other kids.”

Children enjoy games, creative activities, and opportunities to make friends, while parents and carers can join in, support learning, and spend quality time together.
It’s the perfect way for families to unwind, play, and be part of a supportive community.
“I have loved bringing the kids and being outside. Cole loves outdoors - our motto is your skin is waterproof so even on wet days we loved it. Ruby-rose made a wonderful journal to show her dad. we loved having our food baked on the fire. A great new experience and look forward to trying ourselves. Thank you for a lovely time up the woods.”
